What to expect

I bring lived experience that has shaped the compassionate, trauma-informed approach I offer today. Through my own healing journey, I learned the importance of creating a peaceful and safe environment, the foundations that made real recovery possible.

Through my work, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the diverse needs of individuals and families, along with a strong awareness of the mental health challenges, chronic health conditions and disabilities that can impact daily life.

Experienced and Compassionate

Experienced and Compassionate

I began my professional caring journey as a childcare assistant and nanny, supporting children and families for eight years, before moving into public service, customer service and administration roles. Feeling a strong calling back to the helping profession, I transitioned into community care, where I supported aged care and disability clients for over twelve years, both with organisations and as an independent sole trader.

This background allows me to offer experienced, compassionate, practical, and person-centred support tailored to each individual’s journey.

Empathy is central to my work. I aim to create a space where people feel heard without being judged, and supported without being pressured. True growth happens within environments of feeling safe and I aspire to provide this kind of support at all times

I believe in autonomy. Each person is the expert in their own life. My role is to offer support, structure and encouragement while honouring individual choice and capacity.

I am a Mum to one adult son and one school-aged daughter, and in my spare time, I enjoy keeping fit, spending time with the people I love and creating meditation videos. I also have friendly dogs who are very much part of the family, and they may occasionally make an appearance during telehealth sessions.
